Gelus is a small, doll-like Shinigami whose appearance suggests that he was poorly sewn together. Gelus' story is beautiful yet sad. Gelus is the Shinigami that would watch a younger Misa from the Shinigami realm as he loved her and wanted to protect her. As Gelus watched her, he knew that her life was coming close to an end and wanted to see what would occur. As he watches, he seems the danger that has been presented in front of her and takes switft action to eliminate this threat.
